When Kingdoms Collide

Jesus Norway2

Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. – Matthew 6:33

Seeking after God and His righteousness gives us a completely different perspective of the world. We see things in a different light and as they really are.

Unfortunately for many they just can’t seem to understand what the above Scripture means.  I’m not talking about unbelievers, but also many who profess themselves to be Christians.

In 1 John 2:15 we read.

“Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.”

The worldly system is largely influenced by the antichrist. Only when you are actively living out Matthew 6:33, seeking after God, His Kingdom and Righteousness first, before anything else, can you clearly see the transparent structure of the enemy’s plans in the world around us.

Have you noticed (it’s hard not to) how many antichristian policies, laws, rules and values are now being revealed, more blatantly than we have ever seen them.

Evil comes in many forms, and as it gathers momentum, it arranges itself to attack and deface Christian values, seeking to strip away the knowledge of God, His Kingdom and His righteousness and replace them with a fake – in direct opposition to the word of God.

Make no mistake, there are only 2 Kingdoms at work in the world. The Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness, and it doesn’t matter what a person’s status is, rich or poor, leader or sheep, well-known or unknown, they are either in one Kingdom, or the other, there is no in-between (as agnostics might imagine).

Scripture spells it out quite clearly for us in 1 John 5:19-20

“We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.”

As we regress further back to being like it was in the days of Noah, many people are wondering, just how close are we to the time when Jesus will return, or how close are we to a day when we will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air?.

We all know about the hyper-sensationalism in which social media is flooded with videos and articles on why a particular person thinks such an event will occur on a specific date,  but then the date passes and nothing happens.  That is not to say it wont happen, it’s just that Scripture gives us a series of events which must happen first, and I think most people would agree that now, more so than ever before, we are seeing those things happening.

If you want to study, and watch one of those things happening right before your eyes, then remember this verse from 2 Thessalonians 2:3.

“Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion (falling away, apostasy) occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.”

You don’t have to look very far to see examples of a falling away happening. Each week, I get mail from people all over the world, people who are upset and angered by what they are seeing happen in Churches and professed Christian groups, luke warm, watered down, sugar-coated, people pleasing, social club gatherings. no mention of sin, repentance, deliverance etc.

And then we have cults who call themselves “christian”, whose agenda and practices are anything but Biblical.

Be vigilant friends, save some oil to keep your lamps burning, and keep the Spiritual doorposts of your house (you and your family’s lives) covered by the blood of the lamb, because a time is coming, which has already begun, when you will no longer recognize the world, but that’s ok, because even though we are in the world, we are not of the world!

Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. – Matthew 6:33

God Bless you and be with you. May His Spirit breathe new life into you and draw you unto Himself.

Long time…

Jesus Norway2

Just a quick post to say thank you; to you few subscribers out there. I began writing in this blog before I took to social media, and for a long time I felt like nobody was interested in the articles I wrote here, so I almost abandoned the idea, but I think now I might start to write some new posts and see how it goes, given that I can now combine multiple things into one post from my different ministry resources.

So, for those who like to read, look out for something new coming soon.

The richest of Blessings to you always.

Who did you sharpen Today?

Warfare on the Spiritual battlefield

Spiritual Warfare is real!

I think the majority of Christians have heard the phrase “Spiritual Warfare”, but I don’t think there are many who fully understand the depth of what it actually is, so in this post I will endeavor to examine what it is, why it exists and how it can affect us. This post will likely be a long one, for which I can make no apology. This is an important topic, especially at this point in time where the world is getting to be a very dark place as new enemy strongholds are being established on a daily basis. There are people who don’t like to read or say they don’t have time so I can only hope and pray for those people that they will wake up to their priorities, before their priorities wake them.

I think by the end of this post your eyes will be opened as to how big this issue actually is and how many areas of life it is embedded in.

The Bible, in Hosea 4:6 says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” and this is sadly true. <Key point>

The question for some people is, how can there be any spiritual warfare when the battle has already been won at Calvary? and that is a legitimate question and indeed a very true statement. The battle was indeed won and the ultimate price paid and Hallelujah, Praise, Honor and Glory be to God for that! and if you are in Christ, walking in His fullness you can enjoy the benefits of His sacrifice of Love for you, but what if you’re not?, what about the people who are not, who are walking and even trapped in darkness. Family, friends, loved ones, neighbours (who we are commanded to love even as ourselves? <Key point>

Let me ask you a question. If a kidnapper grabbed hold of someone close to you, and nobody else was around to help, wouldn’t you put up a struggle to save that person, wouldn’t you wrestle with the kidnapper to stop them from achieving their crime? – Of course you would!

What about struggling with a kidnapper that you CAN’T SEE?

Ephesians 6:12 says this:

For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Now, please, please go back and read Ephesians 6:12 again, every word….got it? ok good as by now I hope you are beginning to understand at least the fundamental reason as to why Spiritual Warfare exists.

Before we come to Christ we are lost in our sins, walled in by society and the corrupt moral climate and education system, hell bent on shoving evolution down our throats and in as many ways as possible telling us that there is no God, and then on the other hand you have lots of cults and moderate “churches” who create an image of god in their own likeness (instead of the other way around).

The world and it’s many systems and schemes is a deeply wicked place. We only see the surface damage as we watch the news or read the newspaper, but when you are Spiritually awakened by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit you gain a sense of discernment much like a sixth sense and from there you begin to see more fully the Spiritual battle which is going on in plain sight, but wait, if it’s in plain sight why are more people not aware of it and talking about it? Well, that’s because outside of the Lord, people are spiritually dead in their sins and blind to spiritual matters, they only see and are concerned with material things; making them cannon fodder for the enemy and his servants.

Going back to Ephesians 6:12 above (you read it twice remember), it is clear as to what we are dealing with and we need to remember that, and be conscious of it, as not only individuals but entire towns, cities or even nations can be affected by demonic influence and strongholds.

Even knowing this, there are, unbelievably, still professing Christians who shrug it off or take it with a pinch of salt, dismissing it because it’s not a fashionable viewpoint and their other moderate part-time Christian friends may not approve, or at least would only offer a worldly opinion on it because they still have 1 foot in the world (if not 1 and a half). Meanwhile demonic entities parading as familiar spirits carry on their offensive on many different fronts.

There are many ways in which demonic oppression manifests itself, I could probably write a list as long as a roll of toilet paper because it is so ingrained in society today that people accept it as the norm, so let’s take a look at just a few instances of what is going on.

sw4I think everyone knows that devil worshipers exist. They are usually imagined as a group gathered in some dark place wearing dark robes and hoods with a pentagram on the floor etc and this does happen, but I wonder if people also realize that there is another much larger following of devil worshipers in the world Today that don’t always wear dark robes with black candles but instead they wear shirts & ties, run multinational businesses, Banks, Governments, the media and the music industry. The difference is that they don’t see the devil as satan the fallen angel that he is, but instead they see him still as Lucifer the bringer of light, the bright shining Seraphim he once was before he became filled with pride, greed and lust.

Why do they still see him as Lucifer when the Bible clearly recounts what happened?  Because he told them so, is the simple answer, he appears to them in his original form:-

2 Corinthians 11:14 “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.”

he tells them that it was all a misunderstanding that God judged him unfairly and in return for siding with him he promises them great power, fame and wealth and in their eyes he seems to deliver on it – I think we’ve all heard, particularly of musicians making a deal with the devil, selling their soul for fame and fortune and sure enough they do get fame and fortune, there are countless examples of this

Bob Dylan, Jimmy Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Snoop Dogg  etc

But it’s not just limited to musicians, it amounts to many more people than that. Some you might expect like magicians, and others who you would least expect (or suspect)

And yet, they must know that the day will come when it’s time to pay the price at their end-of-the-bargain, but they have absolutely no idea of what kind of price they will pay because they made the grave mistake in trusting in the father of lies. Worse still there are some people in positions of power who don’t think they will have to pay any price, but instead be rewarded – How deceived they are!

How can satan give people all of this? Well, let’s go back to when satan took Jesus up to the highest mountain (Matthew 4:8) overlooking all the kingdoms of the world and he said to Jesus “If you will bow down and worship me, I’ll give all of this to you” – Jesus didn’t respond to him by saying it isn’t yours to give. In order to give it, he must already have had it. Jesus Himself referred to him as the “prince of this world”, but the fact that he “has” it doesn’t mean it’s his and it will ultimately be taken back from him. Crime doesn’t pay, not even for satan as he and his followers will soon see.

So, the world and it’s systems are like a rotten apple, decaying all the time, built on an infrastructure of lies and deceit with people jumping from the frying pan into the fire trying to find solutions outside of God.

The essence of Spiritual warfare is to come against these systems and seek to nullify, tear down and destroy them for the strongholds that they are, but know this, this is the part where it all becomes real, where we stop with playing at it and actually end up on the battlefield on the front lines – Some people are specially anointed for this which is good because it is not for the faint hearted as demons don’t like having their cage and comfort zone rattled. They can be sitting in control of a situation for years with little or no resistance then you come along and start praying into it, they will make every attempt they can to stop you and if they can’t get to you they may go after your family or those closest to you so before you even consider getting into this arena, you have to cover yourself and your family, and those closest to you with the precious blood of Jesus, and ask the Lord to build His hedge of protection around you and them, you must do as He says and put on the full armour of God and have the greatest of Faith, courage and determination as you stand on the solid rock of your Faith, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Word of God, trust it, believe it, live it, and the gates of hell shall not, and cannot prevail (withstand) against it.

There are vacancies, lots of vacancies on the front lines because many professing Christians are in denial about this and their responsibilities to seek and save the lost

Most churches are only fishing in their own “fishtank” trying to convert the converted to a higher standard whilst the people on the outside are perishing, lost in their sins.

So I hope by now you will have at least some idea and insight into what spiritual warfare is, why we do it and why there is a need for us to engage in it. Jesus came under attack from the devil so we can assume that man is not immune.

Once again I say that yes! the battle is already won but we have to walk in that victory and use that authority to declare freedom for the captives.

If you have any questions or want any further advice or information, don’t hesitate to leave a message or contact us through Norway Prayer Network on Facebook.

God Bless you and strengthen you for the battle ahead. Amen.

The old new age

It’s a term we hear more about every day – “The New Age” but there is nothing new about it, it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Read on to find out more.

New age practices come in many forms and all are promoted as an “alternative”. Alternative medicine, alternative beliefs etc. This encompasses so many things, some which may sound familiar and others which may not. Below is a non-exhaustive list.

  • Yoga
  • Tarot card reading
  • Transcendental meditation
  • Mediums & clairvoyants
  • Healing with crystals (stones)
  • Reading auras
  • Fortune telling
  • Divination
  • Astrology
  • Shamanism and goddess worship
  • Astral projection
  • Palmistry
  • Numerology
  • Feng shui

Not all new age practitioners subscribe to every area, but they do share common beliefs and have a very similar agenda. It’s primary teaching, (which is sometimes disguised) is all about us, the “self”. It promotes the idea that we are all gods in our own right. Take Yoga for instance, it has been an everyday word / practice for many years and a lot of people just see it as a form of exercise, but in fact it is a lot more than just exercise. Look at it this way, if you buy a car and have the owners manual in your hand, you are reading a book made by the people who created the car, they know all about the car, what it can and cannot do and what you should and should not do with it, we refer to manufacturers guides to let us know how we should interact with our products because the people who design them are giving us instructions and insights into them, and so it is with Yoga.  The root meaning of the word Yoga from Sanskrit means to be yolked, but yolked to what?, well given that it’s a Hindu religious practice I’d say yolked to Hindu gods.  Yoga as we’ve already said comes from Hinduism and Hindu yogi masters claim that yoga and Hinduism are inseparable, you can’t have one without the other, it is part and parcel of a religious practice. It strives to awaken spiritual forces within the body to become connected with the inner “self”. People are taught mantras (chants) and when they sit there chanting this stuff they are calling on Hindu “gods” which are in fact demonic entities just waiting to get a foothold into the person’s life and if that person is asking them to come by using mantras, then it’s an open invitation! People are deceived into thinking that they are striving for and achieving “enlightenment” when in actuality they are putting themselves into spiritual bondage under satan and ultimately under his control.

new age

The New age teaches (one way or another) that all religions and religious teaching lead to God, but which God are they talking about? If they are talking about the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob then they couldn’t be more wrong, but if they are talking about who they call god, the god of the new age; which is satan then certainly that is more close to the truth.  Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father (God) except through me”, so that statement by Jesus immediately deals with the false precept that ALL paths lead to God.

Satan is all about counterfeit, he cant create anything so he has to rely on counterfeit deceit, this is why the Bible refers to him as “the father of lies”. New age practices are actually nothing new, it is merely a revival of old occult practices, re-branded and somewhat repackaged into “alternative” methods of dealing with life (instead of God) and it holds great appeal to those who deliberately want to avoid the one true living God. The devil knows this only too well and he is harnessing the allure of this to create more puppets to propagate this stuff daily, taking the focus off God and onto self. People enjoy sin, they do it as a matter of course, they don’t even think of it as sin because in the new age mentality there are no such things as sin and evil because the supreme being (The universe) is beyond all that (notice how this removes any personal accountability) so they happily lie, cheat, steal, enter into adulterous affairs etc without conscience.

It is not unusual to hear new age people use the name “Christ” or Jesus, but don’t be deceived, they are not talking exclusively about the one true Jesus, Son of God.  The New Age portrays Christ as a reincarnated avatar, or messenger sent from the universe, or cosmic consciousness, to give the people on earth spiritually advanced revelation and information. The New Age teaches that Buddha, Mohammed, Confucius, Jesus, and many others were ‘Christ’ which lines up with what the Maitreya says about himself, consider this quote.

“I have not come to found a new religion,” “Lord” Maitreya says. “I have come to teach the art of Self-realization,” something which is neither an ideology nor a religion, but benefits people of all religions and those who have none. “I come to you ‘like a thief in the night'”, He tells us, “so that you will not become too excited. Slowly, as you become aware, you can ‘digest’ what is ‘eaten’. In awareness you will know Me.

In Matthew 24:5 (Amongst other places) Jesus warns us of false Christs who will come onto the world scene. “For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

And remembering what I said about the counterfeit deceit of satan.  In the quote above Maitreya says “I come to you like a thief in the night” yet in the Bible, in several places it uses exactly that terminology. 1 Thessalonians 5:2 “For you know quite well that the day of the Lord’s return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night.

They further try to substantiate this avatar Christ story by claiming that Jesus spent 18 years in India studying under various mystics, sorcerers, Hindus and Buddha etc.

Now think about a buzz word which has been circulating the meeting table of many Church leaders for quite a long time now (especially state churches) “Ecumenicism”, that is, a version of “Christianity” which embraces all faiths. Now, don’t get me wrong here, I’m not against unity, but it must be unity in Christ.  Jesus wanted His people to be one, to be unified, but if people have different beliefs which contradict the word of God then there is no unity of Spirit and we must Worship Him in Spirit and in truth!

So the ecumenical movement, mirrored by this new age “all roads lead to God” view indeed sounds like a recipe for disaster, which leads us to another Scripture. 1 Timothy 4:1 “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.”

A lot of people are in danger because of this mass deception, and I use the word deception in the strongest terms because that’s exactly what it is. Sure, there are people involved in some aspects of the new age movement because they know and understand exactly what it is and they chose their own path, but there are also those who are lured into this stuff completely unaware of what it is they are getting themselves into, and then left wondering why things start to go badly wrong in their lives.

This has turned into rather a long post, and could probably grow to twice this size, but I hope from this you will get the idea that nothing good can come from involvement in the new age movement. It also worries me to see this stuff increasing at an alarming rate in Norway and the Church is not doing anything to take a stand against it, NOTHING!

On an end-note I’d just like to add my personal thoughts on what it is those people who get into transcendental meditation are dealing with. They say they make contact with “Ascended masters” on a higher plain of consciousness. I think that these so called ascended masters are actually demonic entities impersonating some guru and I also think that the same are tied in with the UFO phenomena (See my separate post on UFO’s). Check out this picture below which I preened from the Facebook page of a practicing Norwegian psychotherapist.

That picture was designed by someone who knows the truth about all of this, but worse still is enjoyed by people who think there is a shortcut to health and happiness outside God.

Be sure of this. The devil is out to deceive you but he has no power or authority over you when you are in Christ Jesus, the one true Jesus and NOT the Aquarian age jesus which these people teach.

If you have been roped into any of this stuff, I’d advise you to get out now, repent of it and ask God to cleanse you.  If you need Prayer then please just leave a message and we will gladly Pray with you and do what it takes to get you delivered from this trap.

God Bless you.

As a final addendum I am including this talk by Bill Schnoebelen. A man who has probably been involved in more new age / occult stuff than most people we could mention. Bill who finally found the truth and gave his life to the Lord now shares about his experiences in so many of the areas which he was involved. The talk begins with a brief testimony from Bill before he gets down to the subject matter, so just stick with it and hopefully you may learn something that you didn’t know. I Pray the precious blood of Jesus over you as you listen that you would not be affected by anything revealed in the presentation. Amen.

Making it fit

Put God first!

What does being Christian mean to us, does our idea of being a Christian fit with the Biblical perspective or do we have a different agenda?

Sadly, for many, the Christian lifestyle is limited to just another thing that they do, alongside lots of other activities in their daily / weekly routines, and as such it they try and fit it in with their other activities such as sports, socializing, work etc, with Christian matters (God) often taking second place, simply because the individual making the decision makes a choice based upon what their personal benefit will be in making that choice.

So, we can wonder how can a disciple of Christ, knowing full well who Jesus is, and what He has done for them; put Him in second place to say, a football game? – Well the answer is fairly straightforward, in that the people who do this are not disciples to begin with, yet they are often “committee” members in their Church, involved in decision making as to how they can disciple others – This is what is commonly called the blind leading the blind and a big reason why there are divisions, affairs, elitism etc within many Churches because instead of people who are completely sold out for Jesus running the Church it is people who are still serving their own agenda, and it is these same deluded people who sit and wonder why the Church isn’t growing as expected and why their city / town / village seems so far away from God and the Church.

The reality of Spiritual matters has still not sunk into these people, they haven’t absorbed it or understood it because they are still living material lives, wrapped up in the world and it’s many lures and attractions, all of which are geared to personal fulfillment, yet never hit the mark, because nothing else can satisfy the emptiness in a person like God can, simply because we were created by God FOR God and until people understand that and accept it they will continue trying to fill the void in their life with other things which all amount to nothingness in the end.

In my previous post I spoke about the social club Church in which people are attracted to belonging to a social club of like minded people but the social side of it is more important to them than the Church side, because the Church side of it challenges their personal agenda and lifestyle and the Church leaders (who are often in the same boat) are afraid to challenge anyone to grow Spiritually for fear of them leaving through being offended and so they get caught up in a cycle and no Spiritual growth occurs, they become stagnant and ineffective.

Meanwhile, satan has lots of blind, willing servants to carry on his agenda everywhere we look, every time we watch the news or read a newspaper, we don’t have to look far to see the works of satan in the world, but do we REALLY believe the terrible things we see are the works of the devil or do we just think it’s a sign of the times in that it’s just the way things are these days – I’d ponder your thoughts very carefully here, and not be deceived.

When Paul wrote to the Ephesians in Chapter 6 and verse 12 he said.  “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Do we really think that those demonic forces are any less prevalent Today? In fact it may be safe to say even more so.  How often have you had a thought pop into your head and think WHAT!!! where did that come from, that’s just crazy!, Well that is an introduction to demonic suggestion or you may want to call it heightened temptation, and the sad fact is that not everyone dismisses the thought(s) and will sometimes go along with them, we can particularly see evidence of this when a murderer is caught and interviewed.

According to what Jesus told us about how to know when the end is near, with what is happening in the world Today, and over the past couple of years with a record number of earthquakes and disasters, wars and rumors of wars etc, I think its safe to say, now, more than ever before that we are literally very close to the end of things as we know it, and yet there are people who treat their Christian life with the same measure they do with other things, and often times, less.

I’d really like us to Pray for such people and indeed the body of Christ as a whole because whilst they are living life in this moderate way, people are perishing and entering into eternity without knowing the Lord.  It amazes me how many people when challenged on how often they share their Faith with unsaved friends, family members, colleagues and even strangers they will claim that they don’t feel its for them, or they don’t feel called to do that.  What they are really saying is that they are embarrassed and don’t like to face rejection or feel humiliated, but the point they are missing is that when they spread the Gospel it is like giving people the kiss of life – The Bible says that Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God, so every word of God spoken is like a breath of Spiritual fresh air to those who are perishing even though they may not realize it at the time.

Unless a person is gay they would not want another person of the same sex putting their mouth to theirs but if they were lying on the floor unconscious they would be so grateful for that precious kiss of life, and so it is in the Spiritual sense also, often they give the impression they don’t want to hear it, but at some point, in some situation God can use that planted seed by bringing those words back to a person and that can be the beginning of new hope and a new life in Christ for them.

But first before any of this can occur we need to Pray for the millions of “moderates” out there, that they will be awakened with a sense of urgency so that they will take the great commission seriously, and that their eyes will be opened to see the responsibility on us to share the Gospel with others at any available opportunity irrespective of personal cost.

Let us Pray that they will stop just “making it fit”, and that the Holy spirit will ignite them and give them a passion for the lost, and indeed then they can, and will become disciples.

On the other hand, Scripture tells us that in the last Days there will be many who will “fall away” from Faith and the Church, and part of that reason will be connected with what we have been talking about here.  People want to take God and His Church and mold them into something comfortable for them (thus creating an idol) that suits their ideas / agenda and if they can’t do that then they’d rather turn their back on it – This will be when the wheat is sorted from the chaff

In fact 2 Thessalonians 2:3 tells us that the day of the Lord shall not come until after the falling away.

It’s now time to decide if you will be wheat or chaff, but don’t be long in deciding, please.

Building the end times Church in Norway and beyond

Is the Church able to withstand the current age, and what is coming against it in the near future. Are we prepared? is our Church built on the solid rock or are we running a social club for people who want to be nice at least 1 day a week? Read on to find out more!

What would your cross be?

For the most part, one thing most Christians have in common is that they want to either build or belong to a successful Church, but what is a successful Church, what does it consist of and what does successful really mean in this context.

People have differing ideas when talking about success.  To some it’s about having a large congregation and a mountain of envelopes on the collection plate, to others it’s about having an attractive building with matching cups & saucers and everything in it’s place, and yet to others it’s about ensuring the congregation do exactly as they are told and accept the rules without question. So in this mixture we see different needs, all of which hold some level of importance. Sure we need people who will tithe to help sustainability, sure we need an orderly and adequate building where we can meet and disciple others, and yes to some extent; discipline is needed, but when we come to draft up a list of priorities, where do these things go, and is there anything else that we should factor into this list.

Of course, to some the answer to this is blatantly obvious.  In fact to all but a few it should be blatantly obvious, yet so very many don’t seem to grasp the one vital ingredient which makes up a successful Church, and that is to realize that without God we can do nothing, and the Church is who we are and not where we go.  Of course, even in spite of knowing this it doesn’t stop some people from trying anyway, sometimes out of zeal and other times out of personal ambition because they think they have it more right than the Church down the road and feel sure they can do a better job, and so we end up with lots of small “pocket” Churches trying to survive independently, showing obligatory respect to others in the Ministry but still continuing on their own personal quest and for the most part being in disunity.

This, and similar scenarios has been going on for a long time and as long as people feel they are serving the Lord it will continue, but what concerns me, and others is that the end times Church needs to be strong, unified, and completely hand in hand with God 24/7.  The time is rapidly approaching when everyday situations are going to radically change as we know them.  Let us not forget that the world and its systems are run by the enemy (the devil) and if you doubt that; then I’m sorry to say that you are already deceived.  Over recent years there has been a subtle but steady, deliberate decline in moral standards and everything which the Church stands for has been under attack.  Darwinism is now taught as FACT in schools and colleges and anyone who takes a stand against it finds themselves locked out in the cold. In many places now you can’t say Happy Christmas, you have to say Happy Holidays. If you go to work wearing a crucifix (a jewelry cross) you can face dismissal (get fired). I remember reading a British mainstream newspaper a couple of years ago, and on the front cover was a big picture of a Nativity scene and the headline text said “Is this really the most offensive scene in Britain?”

This, and many other attacks on Biblical values has not happened by chance, it is the result of a systematic attack on God’s people and the body of Christ as a whole and as a note for the Norwegian reader please don’t think that you will be exempt from any of this.  There is a very dark and sinister Spiritual force over your Country which is working relentlessly to break down all the barriers which keep your society and traditions safe.

This moral breakdown has caused a vacuum which people unwittingly get sucked into and as a result people don’t want to have anything to do with the Church or God, because the world system implants the idea that we are all gods in our own right, we are seated on the throne of our own lives and it is our own efforts, wisdom and decision making which will see us through life and the prospect of going back to the “old” way of doing things and being accountable to God and each other is not very appealing because that would take away our image of ultimate independence because WE know best right?

So, now we have a generation which feels they are self-sufficient, intelligent and proud, as oppose to what we used to have in which people were humble, and reliant upon God to know what they should do.  So, where is the Church in all of this? Well, for the most part this has resulted in the type of Church we see Today, one that appeals to the natural instinct of modern man, that is to say man is a social being so although he may be sitting on the throne of his (or her) own life, he still looks for social interaction and so he joins a “Church social club”  He (or she) kinda likes the “Church” atmosphere being amongst a group of like minded people, as long as they don’t pressure him with too much of this God stuff as he doesn’t really want to know about all that accountability stuff because that would rob him of his image of self dependence, and more importantly he knows he would have to take the lid off his conscience, stop looking at porn, stop lying etc, all will be ok and he will probably keep coming, provided that there isn’t a good football game, or other event on at the same time.

And so the “Church” offers a watered down version of the Gospel, one that wont offend anyone because they don’t want to lose members, they want to keep them (and their donations).  So, you may angrily ask, OK yes, you’re right but WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO!!! when people won’t come, isn’t it better to at least teach them something rather than nothing!?!? and of course the answer is yes! BUT!!! don’t be content with doing half a job, don’t allow it to continue indefinitely.  There has to be a point when you show people that they are expected to grow and a point where we would expect to see real Spiritual growth in our congregations. We don’t stay Children forever. You see, it’s easy to let one week slip into another doing the same thing because it’s comfortable to do it that way.  This is one of the main things that is wrong with the Church and it’s summed up in a word – “Complacency”.  Start by examining yourself and the Church Ministry team, are you really living for God? or for yourselves?.  The Church exists to make disciples, but in order to make disciples you must first become a disciple.  Jesus said “Take up your cross and follow me”, what is your cross? what is your burden? fear of man, fear of failure? weakness of the flesh? God wants you to lay it ALL down before Him and follow Him, become selfless, indeed to die to yourself, put to death your old selfish desires, forget them and bury them. Gather together to seek God’s will for your lives, just be in His presence, wait on Him and submit everything to Him alone, don’t tell Him what you want, ask Him what HE wants.  IF you do this with the right desire in your heart, and not just out of duty, but because you want to see God glorified through your life and the lives of others, then He will speak to you, and you will begin to experience things you never thought were possible. Once you are at that place of total submission, then God can begin to mold and shape you into something He can use, and also then your character will be reproduced in those around you, producing effective disciples, fruit that will remain.

Take a look at 2 Chronicles 7:14 which says this “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”  Now you know what it means, and don’t be fooled into thinking there is a shortcut around it because there isn’t.

I have contact with quite a few Churches here in Norway, I used to attend one in particular.  I made an attempt to encourage people to move into deeper things with a couple of posts on the Church Facebook page only to find my posts had been deleted when I checked the day after and through the grapevine I hear that they were removed because it was just about “stuff” I was interested in, but no one else was.  Maybe the person who enjoys one of the leadership positions who removed my postings didn’t stop to think that maybe it was exactly what someone needed to hear / see, even if it rattled their cage.  I no longer attend that Church although I do still have contact with some of its members.  I forgave the person who did this and can see why they did it, and maybe I shouldn’t have left or took offense but it’s a little like dealing with a drug addict, they themselves have to acknowledge that there is a problem and things need to change before any change can occur because no matter what anybody else says to them it wont make any difference to what they do until they admit to themselves that there is a problem, and they think they know best.

It’s a bit of a strange position for me and people like me (few that we are) whose job it is to encourage others in the Faith to seek after the deeper things of God.  A lot of Christians take a dislike to you because you threaten their comfort zone, so it can be a hard and often lonely, difficult life but that’s ok I’m not in this to be Mr popular, I’m in this to see God glorified and to see people set free from the bondage’s of the enemy and to come into everlasting Salvation and true victory.

It’s a sad fact that so many don’t know or even want to acknowledge what is coming in the near future, against the Church and the body of Christ, but what I do know is that I will continue my quest to do my part in building a strong, unified Church that will be there for so many people in the last days as their lives begin to fall apart and all else fails them. A Church that will use the Bible as it’s road-map and guide and one which will be filled with the Holy Spirit to stand against the gates of hell as they are revealed on the Earth in the days ahead.

There are those who will scorn this post and go back to Google to find something a little more palatable to read, and their social club Church mentality and yet there are a few, just a very few who the Holy Spirit will convict and will kneel in repentance and change the way they do everything, and it is that few which makes it all worthwhile.

God Bless you and keep you in life eternal.

Jezebel is out to get you

Jezebel spirit

This post is more of a warning to prepare ourselves for what is coming, particularly against the Church.  With each passing year we see reports of ministers who have fallen after giving in to the lusts of the flesh, particularly high profile ministers such as TV Evangelists, (although not exclusively).

it can often leave the rest of us in a state of dismay as to why someone who seemingly has all the things most Christians dream of; could do such a thing, but I think the reason it feels so shocking is because of 2 main reasons. Firstly, because we can often look up to these people, and unknowingly put them on a pedestal and secondly because they can themselves often be overwhelmed with their position and popularity and instead of remaining humble they can become a little over ambitious and over-inflated in regard to their own abilities, and yet the dangerous thing in both cases is to forget that they are only human beings just like anybody else – subject to the same temptations, struggles and influences that are all around us.  That, and the fact that Christians, and particularly Ministers are targeted by the devil (who doesn’t take a coffee break) 24×7

The word of God didn’t tell us to equip ourselves with the FULL armor of God just because it was a catchy phrase, it was because God knows our adversary very well, and the lengths he will go to in order to make us fall. When we give our lives over to Jesus, He washes us clean, as white as snow, but in this Earthly realm we are still swimming in muddy water and we need to be equipped with the right Spiritual tools to keep our shiny new robes clean, lest we take off our armor and expose ourselves to the snares of the enemy.

Ephesians 6:12 plainly tells us —-> “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

Interpret that how you will, but this verse (and others like it) clearly tell us that this is not just a case of avoiding bad company or questionable friends, but there are demonic Spiritual entities who are out to influence you and your thought processes, I mean lets be honest here, how many of us have been sat there alone and all of a sudden a thought process of a sexual nature just slips into your mind, and just for a second you examine it, like Adam biting into the apple, its quite tasty and then whoa!!! you stop (sadly some people do not stop) and think where the heck did that come from! its like psychological seduction, that I believe comes from outside of ourselves but appeals to the sinful nature within us. This is very much a Spiritual battle and the sooner people realize that, the sooner we can hope to see more people overcome it, and if you take anything away from this article, please let it be that

Please don’t be confused by the title of this post in which I hinted toward the Jezebel spirit, this is not just about women but also men as both can be equally manipulated by the enemy, as in the spiritual realm there is a constant battle being waged.  Yes, we know that the battle has already been won, but it doesn’t stop the father of lies from trying to convince people otherwise. When we are walking forwards we should be paying attention that no one is sticking their foot out to trip us up.

For so many people sexual contact and sexual intimacy are a real weak spot, I’m not sure that I have a definitive answer as to why that is and perhaps it cant be explained in simple human terms, I do strongly suspect that it has its roots in a Spiritual nature, a nature that is corrupted by the devil’s relentless interference.

What I do know is that we MUST be extremely vigilant in these end-times as I’m pretty sure that the enemy is going to try and use this “trump card” more and more to break down relationships, marriages, Ministries and Churches, so the next time, or in your case it may be the first time you get an involuntary thought process like this, remember this article and quickly dismiss it and above all don’t tell the person you had the thoughts about as the enemy can turn it around by using your confession into a bad seed planted into that person which in turn could have them coming after you under the enemy’s influence. Don’t be a pawn on the devil’s chess board. John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy”

Ephesians 6:13-17 “Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled round your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Any negative thought process which comes upon you can quickly be countered by calling on Jesus name and declaring His name over the thoughts, and the origination of them.

Always remember that at the name of Jesus every knee must bow! and it doesn’t just refer to physical knees.

Be bold, Be strong for the Lord your God is with you.

Revival is in the air

Revival begins with you!

Some of us live to see revival, others are not even sure what it is, yet somehow know that it is something good.

In fact it’s more than good, because to see true revival come is something miraculous in every sense of the word, when Heaven and Earth meet, the Holy Spirit comes in power and people’s lives are changed forever!

I like to think of Revival as an awakening of the Church, awakening back to when the Church was born at Pentecost. The Holy Spirit came upon people and empowered them to do exceedingly and abundantly more than they could ever imagine. When the mortal shell of man was endowed with the Spirit of his creator.  What better or more satisfying thing in this world could there possibly be, than to be at one with the very Heart of God, to be equipped and walk hand in hand with Him, to do His work and be in close relationship with Him as was originally intended.

Contrary to what some people think, God listens, and often chooses to act upon what He hears. God is a gentleman, which is why He gave people free will to choose Him or reject Him. He will often respond to both positive and to negative things that people say about Him.  In recent years man, in his not-so-infinite wisdom has decided to throw God out of Schools and education, replacing Him with darwinism, they have thrown Him out of the workplace not wanting to “offend” anybody who doesn’t believe in God, yet they choose not to believe simply because they find the idea of accountability too stifling to fit in with their sinful lifestyle. So now that God has sadly said ok and backed away, seeing this hateful rejection, people are asking the well known question “if there is a God then why……..etc” and the answer to that question is very simple, it goes something like this “you reap what you sow” It’s a harsh reality, but not irreparable as God is yet to refuse a repentant heart.

Ok, so that’s the negativity out of the way, lets look at the positive side of things.  We just looked at what happens when people reject their creator, so now lets look at what can happen when we do the opposite, and engage with God, Praise Him, Worship and Glorify Him and ask Him to come closer to us.

God’s word (The Holy Bible) tells us in 2 Chronicles 7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Which goes hand-in-hand with Matthew 6:33 which says: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

History has seen some great Revivals, which were brought about by people who took hold of Scriptures like these and dedicated themselves to seeing God come. These include the Hebridean Revival, the Azusa street revival and the Welsh revival. Before I go any further I’d like to include below a couple of short videos simply to stir up in you the need for revival both in ourselves and the Church as a whole, and the everlasting rewards it can bring.

This next video clip about the Azusa street revival, is a little small (video quality), but please bear with it as it becomes much clearer after the first minute and the content outweighs the video quality by far.

Notice that God doesn’t need big, well known people to work with. Revival is not dependent on celebrity figures. No, in fact just look at the 2 sisters from the Hebrides, both in their 80’s, one was blind and the other almost crippled with arthritis, yet God saw the sincerity of their Hearts, actions, and dedication, and decided to dwell with them as a result and the forthcoming events thereafter were nothing less than amazing and are a very important chapter in History.

So, how can a revival start? Well, a true revival begins with the people Praying for it to come. Making that all important decision to put God and His will first. Having a repentant heart and asking God to purge you of all sin in your life – We are all sinners, our self righteousness is a foul smell in God’s nostrils and the sooner we accept that, the sooner we can move on and get it dealt with.  Because we are born into a world steeped in sin, it is in our face every which way we turn, think or feel, and when we address the sin in our own lives it can often come at a price but nonetheless any price we may pay to move into a closer walk with God is nothing to the price He paid for us at Calvary.

As you begin to Pray for revival, the Holy Spirit will highlight things to your innermost being that you will need to address, although we may not want to.  I remember being in a group of all men Praying for Revival, we were together for at least 9 hours a day. Talk about testosterone half hour! people were flaring up and manifesting all kinds of stuff as issues were brought to the surface – It was an intense time, but a time I will not forget as the rewards, freedom and liberty which followed were invaluable and helped to develop real character and new strength born out of a love for righteousness and for who God is.

It’s about getting serious with God, and with ourselves, and being totally committed to Pray daily.

Prayer and preparation is absolutely vital because if thought processes were visible we would be able to see that the air is filled with sin, like a thick black smoke because the devil and his followers don’t stop or rest, they are on task all the time, day & night filling the invisible “air” around us with filth, temptations and wrongful, harmful thought processes, constantly seeking out the weak and easily influenced to infect them.  The Bible tells us tat the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. He steals people’s hope and joy and leaves behind feelings of helplessness and hopelessness and whispers lies into their ear that they are worthless and not worth living, and uses his followers both living and spiritual to reinforce his destructive lies. He is always looking for new ways to deceive people.  The Bible refers to him as the father of lies.

Pray without ceasing

When we get serious with God and realize who He really is and who we are in Him, we can take authority over the enemy because there are Spiritual laws in place that he has to submit to.  We can overrule him, bind him and cast him out because just like when God looks at us He sees part of Himself in us, so must the devil also.

So, we must Pray fervently for the area and the people where we are asking for revival to come and bind the enemy in that area. We need to cover the whole area in a cloud of Prayer and remain close to one another lest we be infiltrated by the enemy. It is a very serious business which requires a selfless dedication and willingness of personal sacrifice of some things that we may not want to give up, be that in thought, word or action.

Intercessory Prayer is vital.  Famous Revivalist Charles Finney said this.

I have known people who prayed till they were soaked in sweat on a cold winter’s day. I have known people who have prayed for hours until they were totally drained of strength because of the agony of their souls. I have worked with a man of this calibre.”
Charles Finney

Finney recounts one episode; “When I came to a town to start revival, a lady contacted me. She said, ‘Brother Finney, do you know a Father Nash? He and two other men have been staying with me for the last three days, but they haven’t eaten anything. I heard them groaning, so I looked in and saw them prostrate. They have been lying like that for three days. I thought something terrible must have happened, but I was afraid to go in and didn’t know what to do. Could you please come and see if they are all right?’ No, that’s unnecessary, I said. They are only travailing in prayer.”  Charles Finney.

The Man he mentioned was Daniel Nash.  Not many people know that it was Daniel’s intercessory Prayers that fueled Finney’s revivals.  In fact just a few weeks after Nash died, Finney went back to a normal pastoral ministry such was the necessity of Prayer.

The Bible rightly tells us that the Prayers of a righteous man are powerful!, so if we are looking for a true and miraculous revival we should ask ourselves the question. “How much do you want it!”  God wants to bring revival, and He is always looking over the face of the Earth for someone to bring it through, someone who takes it seriously and the only gain they ask is the Salvation of lost souls.

Revival begins in the heart and the very depths of those who seek it.

Be Blessed, Be Encouraged and Pray.

I thought long and hard before deciding to write this article, because many Christians have mixed feelings on the subject of UFO’s, from dismissing them as pure poppycock to not even giving them a second thought because they don’t fit in with their perception of the Biblical texts.

Nonetheless, credible, trustworthy Bible teachers have for some time been examining the possibilities of how UFO’s may fit in with spiritual matters and could possibly be a missing link in our knowledge-base in understanding at least some apparent supernatural occurrences in Today’s world.

I would agree that whether they exist or not, should be of little consequence to the seasoned believer as our place is to keep our eyes focused on God, which, of course we should always, but Scripture also tells us that believers perish through a lack of knowledge, and also to dismiss something without first examining it, is foolishness.

There is a principle, which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep man in everlasting ignorance — That principle is condemnation before investigation.

This is also backed up by the writings of Solomon, in Proverbs 18:13. “He that answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame unto him.”

Solomon didn’t ask God for the riches he had, he merely asked for wisdom, and oh, how I wish more people would do that Today instead of leaning on their own “wisdom” and understanding. I’m sure we can all bring to mind at least one person who lacks the basic ability to listen because they are so sure of themselves that they dismiss almost everything you say because they cant wait to “put you straight” and spout off their version of what is “right”.  I have to be honest, I find that to be extremely obnoxious and as Solomon wrote, it is indeed a folly and shameful.

So, given that there has been a huge increase in the sightings of Unidentified flying objects over recent years, and more importantly that I personally have seen one, close up, which I did not mistake for something else, maybe it was this or maybe it was that etc. It was something strange and unexplained and it was many years ago, yet I haven’t forgotten, so I decided that I could give this subject some serious study and as a result decided to share my thoughts and experiences on here with you. I hope that’s ok and I wont get written off as “just another fruitcake”.

Let me start by saying that I have little doubt that around 95% of UFO videos and reports etc are faked, staged with CGI or otherwise explicable by other means, from naturally occurring phenomena to scientific equipment / aircraft etc, but there remains a 5% that have been documented , tracked on radar, left traces of radiation and seen by multiple eyewitnesses including many credible witnesses who at first declined from speaking about what they saw at all, and it is this, coupled with my own experience which makes this post a valid reason to write about the subject.  It will be a long and detailed post so maybe you should make some coffee and grab a packet of biscuits before reading on.

Out of the 95% faked and contrived cases mentioned above, there are some fragments of evidence to suggest that some of that percentage is intended as deliberate disinformation, to discredit any legitimate sightings / studies. Does that sound familiar? Well, it should, because one of the devil’s primary schemes is to try and convince people that he doesn’t exist! But who would want to discredit, and more to the point why?  Maybe to avoid panic and alien-phobia or perhaps some other reason. Who knows!

A portion of the Scientific community wants to study UFO’s for 2 primary reasons, one for what they can learn from it and secondly they think it will discredit belief in God.  The Scriptures do not directly address the question of alien beings. The Bible does not explicitly confirm or deny the existence of intelligent life from other planets. Although the subject is not addressed explicitly, the Bible teaches implicitly that the only things God created with intelligence are the angels, man, and the animals, which is one reason why I and others don’t believe that UFO’s come from other galaxies as a race of supreme intelligence, but instead come from another dimension, and I don’t think they are what they appear-to-be, not least because they have been recorded as performing impossible maneuvers and right angle turns at incredible speed which completely defy the laws of physics.

So, what is this other dimension?  Well, even going back to the time of Albert Einstein, I think most of us know of his work in the area of relativity and his theory of special relativity which has been shown to be correct to a very high accuracy over many years.  E=MC²

Einstein then went on to unify special relativity with gravity and Mathematical consistency led him to the theory of general relativity, where space-time is curved.  Again this theory has passed many tests. In the past 100 years, it became very clear that we live in a quantum world, where atoms, molecules, and electronics obey quantum rules quite differently from our daily experience. It is natural for scientists to unify quantum mechanics and Einstein’s gravity. This turns out to be a very challenging problem. Many great minds (including Einstein himself) had tried over the years. Yet, around 20 years ago, such a theory was finally discovered, namely, the superstring theory. The theory is very deep but after an intensive effort over 20 years by hundreds of physicists and mathematicians, we now have some idea what the theory is telling us. To start out, the theory has 10 dimensions, 6 more spatial dimensions than our experience tells us. So the study of dimensionality is quite complicated.  We live in a dimension of time and space, but God, and spiritual beings such as angels are outside of all that because they are Spirit and as such exist in another dimension.

The Bible talks about 3 “Heavens”  in Genesis with the first being the atmosphere around the earth. The second heaven is commonly referred to as “outer space.” Exodus 32:13
is one of many references to “the stars of heaven.” Stars are not in the skies from which the rain falls, but in the space beyond our atmosphere.

A “third heaven” is mentioned in 2 Corinthians 12:1-4
Paul also called it Paradise in verse 4.  That word is from the Greek word for park or garden—not just any park or garden, but a magnificent one. It’s the same word used in the standard Greek translation of the Old Testament, the Septuagint, to mean the Garden of Eden.

Revelation 4:2 reveals that God’s throne is in heaven, but which one? Obviously, God’s throne is not in the sky where the clouds are and the birds fly—the first heaven. Nor is it in the visible confines of outer space—the second heaven. Putting this reference together with what Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians, we discern that the third heaven, then, must refer to the location of the throne of God and in a separate dimension from time and space.

When satan and his followers were cast out of Heaven to the Earth, we could not see them because even though they were cast down here, I suspect that they were in some kind of parallel dimension to this one, given that they were Spirit. Now whether they had and have the ability to take on an appearance of flesh, I don’t really know, but when we examine Scripture such as Hebrews 13:2Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” It becomes very apparent that Angels are a higher order of life than we currently are, and we see from this text that they have the ability to appear as human beings. Indeed, angels have the ability to appear as other forms of life also. Satan was originally a holy angel in Heaven and therefore has this ability to imitate other life forms. He masqueraded as a serpent in the Garden of Eden. We also know that satan has been in communication with God since then, when we take for example the case of Job, God said to satan “Have you considered my servant Job?” which means that this spiritual entity know as satan the deceiver, even though he can still possibly take on another guise, can also still go into the Spiritual realm (Dimension).

These fallen angels, now demonic entities seem to be able to traverse inter-dimensionally between the spiritual dimension and the physical dimension, so we have to ask ourselves the question, could there be a link between them and UFO’s, which on one hand appear to be solid material objects, solid enough to cause a reflection so that radar can pick them up, and yet they also have been observed to change their physical shape, disappear from sight (and radar) and exhibit flight that defies the law of physics.

Additionally, some researchers have discovered that UFO’s can only be seen when using modified camera equipment capable of seeing infra red, suggesting that the surface of the entity was not reflecting normal visible light as if to deliberately remain undetected.

Now without taking a quantum leap into conspiracy theory, lets just examine one possible scenario why this might be happening. Let’s assume for a minute that a UFO is not actually a masterpiece of electronics and advanced engineering, but instead it is a spiritual entity in a form it considers suitable for its current purposes, and given that no one except God is omnipotent and omnipresent, as much as the devil wanted to be like God he could not be, is not and will never be, but he still tries by using other methods. Now is this one of those methods? does he, or his followers fly undetected by the naked eye over an area and (as wild as this may sound), use some kind of device to transmit modified brainwave patterns onto unsuspecting people below to corrupt people’s thought processes (temptation etc)

If that sounds a little too sci-fi for you, take a quick look at the latest developments in using brainwaves to control  electronic devices such as robotic arms  for the disabled and mind controlled computer game controllers etc. How hard would it be to make something like that to work in reverse.  Also post-hypnotic and subliminal suggestion has been used for years to influence people, not least by advertisers. So perhaps it’s not so sci-fi after all! In fact I also came across patents for various mind control devices dating back many years and people who diligently research this stuff claim that it is science-fact and not science fiction.

The Bible talks about spiritual rulers, and authorities of the unseen world, and of territorial demons who sit over areas. Even without trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, a lot of this stuff seems to fit as at least a possibility.

Greater is He that is in me, than he who is in the world.  We would do well to not only remember that Scripture, but to also live by and cling to it, because in taking hold of that, we can abound in wisdom to discern the enemy’s plans and make it through to the other side of whatever he tries to throw at us.

Below are some additional resources related to the text above.

In the video clip directly below respected Bible teacher, Dr Chuck Missler holds a conference to discuss UFOs and the Nephilim etc. It lasts around 2 hours but is a very interesting exposition.

This next clip is a reconstruction of documented events which took place at a key American airbase in Suffolk, England – More commonly referred to as the rendelsham forest incident, or Britain’s Roswell. An interesting and eerie story

And in this final clip (below) is a short CNN news report about ex Arizona Governor Fife Symington who although reluctant to talk about what he witnessed at the time of the Phoenix lights incident, now has gone public in describing what he saw. The full story / documentary of the Phoenix lights incident is available on YouTube (click here)

A couple of extra food for thought quotes

What was the chariot of fire that took Elijah up into the Heavens?

Is it possible that God’s Angels use or can appear as what we call a “UFO”?

The video below is also from the “sighting” above, taken from another angle with a much closer zoom. Is it good or bad, I guess we will find out soon enough. There have been a few subseqent hoaxes of the Jerusalem phenomena, but this video is taken from one of the original clips I saw when it first emerged.

The dynamics of Prayer

The Dynamics of Prayer

“Be sure to examine your motive for Praying. By this I mean if your were to say “Lord, please bless me with a bright yellow Lamborghini next Tuesday” that could easily be classed as a greed instead of a need”

The Lord's Prayer

As Christians we (should) be Praying daily, but do we? and when we Pray how do we Pray and what do we think about as we Pray. These opening words may sound trivial but are often a stumbling block for many because they are not sure how to Pray, and more to the point how to Pray to ensure they will receive an answer.

God is interactive, and wants us to be too. He wants us to be “real” in our Prayers and our relationship with Him. Watch the short video clip below as this perfectly illustrates this point (Note: I do not approve of the use of rosary beads as seen in the clip).

God doesn’t miss a trick, He knows what you need, but He wants to make sure that you understand a few things before He starts to answer your Prayers. I have listed below a few points that you need to consider to become an effective Prayer warrior.

The Bible tells us that the Prayer’s of a righteous man are powerful and effective, so is it fair to say that the Prayers of an unrighteous man will not be. So, to begin with we now know that if we want our Prayers to be answered then we should seek after righteousness, that is to be in right standing with God by playing our part in meeting God half way – Please don’t misinterpret what I’m saying here, I’m not at all saying we can attain righteousness on our own as when a person believes that, then they are in danger of becoming “self-righteous”, and I’m sure we’ve all met at least one self righteous person.

To strive forward in doing our part in becoming righteous we need to be obedient to the word of God as there are some very clear guidelines in Scripture to guide us. As an example, in the Lord’s Prayer it tells us to forgive those who sin against us so that God can forgive us. Don’t hang on to any unforgiveness, or bitterness in your heart, no matter what the reason because if you don’t forgive then God cant forgive you, it’s a Spiritual law and as such we need to embrace it, not forgetting that we are in the world, but not of the world so we can and do behave, think and react differently than the world does. When we have unforgiveness in our heart it can cause a blockage in our relationship to God, even to the extent where He will not even hear our Prayers, let alone answer them, so think carefully before you Pray if you feel hatred towards someone, maybe because of the way they have treated you in the past. The word of God instructs us to Pray for our enemies and to Bless them – Quite the opposite of the world view in which we grew up, seeking revenge etc. Always be ready to repent of anything you do or think wrongly, in fact I almost always start a Prayer with repentance given that God’s standards are way higher than ours, so even though we may not feel as if we are wrong about something, in God’s eyes we may well be.

There are lots of other obvious reasons why God would not answer a Prayer, which if we are honest with ourselves we already know, but sometimes being honest with ourselves is pretty hard to do, but self reflection is a big key to Spiritual growth so if you don’t do it already, try to make a habit of doing it, I can tell you that it can be very liberating and helps to give clarity to the scripture “the truth will set you free”.

Be sure to examine your motive for Praying. By this I mean if your were to say “Lord, please bless me with a bright yellow Lamborghini next Tuesday” that could easily be classed as a greed instead of a need, and I’m not saying that God couldn’t or wouldn’t honor your request but its more unlikely than if you were to Pray “Lord, please supply me with a suitable vehicle to allow me to collect people who cant get to Church”. I’m sure there are some prosperity people who may argue about arriving to Church in style, but Jesus started His life in a manger and rode on a donkey. He told a rich man to sell all he had and give it to the poor – You get the picture.

If you know in your heart that what you are Praying for is right and you feel is within the will of God then don’t be afraid to be persistent, keep on Praying and asking, let God know that you are there, and determined, don’t be shy or afraid, often this is the key to getting a Prayer answered.  If you can remind God of what He has promised then it shows Him that you take notice of His word and you are standing on that word and promise. Ephesians 6:18 says, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests”. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying

Get a Christian Brother or Sister to agree with you in Prayer. Jesus said, “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.

Have, and develop a strong Faith. Realize who you are in Christ. Hebrews 11:6 says, And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.  This fits perfectly with what Jesus said “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:24).

There is a very urgent need for Prayer at this time for so many things, so please embrace these guidelines and ultimately don’t take my word for it but read the Bible, and Pray without ceasing. I’ll leave you with these 2 Scriptures. May God richly Bless you as you seek Him first above all things, with all of your heart.

1 Thessalonians 5:12–18 But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction, 13 and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Live in peace with one another. 14 We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people. 16 Rejoice always; 17 pray without ceasing; 18 in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 6:33

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
